Consumer reporting companies collect your information and provides it to other companies in the form of a report. These reports are used by lenders, employers, landlords, banks, insurance companies, retail corporations, utility companies, gaming facilities, and any type of company that uses any method of verification in determining whether or not they will begin a financial relationship with you.
